3. Increase his overall production

Yes, sacks are the priority for outside linebackers in a contract year. That doesn’t mean it should be a singular focus for the former Grand Valley State linebacker. Judon should look to make more tackles, force more fumbles and even try to defend a pass or two. The point is that being an all around player is incredibly important. Suggs was always a good pass rusher for the Ravens but he was also a good run defender. One stat where Suggs was incredible was forced fumbles; he had 35 forced fumbles in his tenure with the Ravens. If Suggs is the model that Judon is supposed to emulate, this is an area to look at. Judon has three forced fumbles in three years.

Judon only had 44 tackles this past season. This is a number that Judon can top in 2019 and he should aim to do so. Judon should try to be a player that teams have to game plan for whether they are throwing or running the football.

dark. Next. 3 goals for Mark Andrews in 2019

The three goals all boil down to the same train of thought. Double digit sacks is the mark of greatness at his position. Being considered the best player of a top tier defense is an honor few players get. Increasing his overall fingerprint on the game, that’s a lofty goal. Each of these goals has to do with becoming an elite football player. That’s the ultimate goal for Judon.
