Marlon Humphrey is coming off a fantastic 2018 season. Here are three goals for him in the 2019 season:

1. Be considered the best cornerback in the NFL:

The Baltimore Ravens know Marlon Humphrey is an elite cornerback. By the end of the 2019 season, Marlon Humphrey’s goal should to be known as the best cornerback in the game. It is widely believed that the Ravens have one of the best secondaries in the NFL. Humphrey is highly thought of by pundits and experts yet he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. Humphrey has played two seasons in the NFL and hasn’t been to the Pro Bowl. He was arguably the best player on the Ravens roster last season and he was voted the team’s MVP by the local media.

Humphrey needs to set his sights on his first Pro Bowl and being listed on the All-Pro team. He is a true shutdown cornerback and he is only going to get better as he enters the prime of his career. Humphrey has a chance to be the best cornerback in the game because it isn’t that far of a jump for him. If the Ravens secondary is as dominant as it has been projected to be, Humphrey will get a lot of the credit. He is the best player in a secondary that has top of the shelf talent.

There isn’t a cornerback in the world that doesn’t get beat, yet Humphrey is equipped to stop every receiver in the National Football League. So the mission for Humphrey is to go out and get the recognition he deserves for being a great player. The defense needs him to be elite. Humphrey needs to prove that is exactly what he is.
