Wide Receiver:

Willie Snead is the returning go to target on the roster. He had 62 receptions last year for 652 yards and a touchdown. Snead is the leader of the group. Chris Moore is an interesting player heading into the season. He’s never been a featured part of the offense. He’s been a player who has had a catch here and a catch there, but he has yet to be leaned on as a receiver. Moore is a lock to make the team because he is viewed as an up and coming receiver and a special teams ace. Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin were both drafted in the first three rounds. They have a roster spot locked up.

The Ravens will keep at least six wide receivers. This makes the WR competition very compelling. Four of the spots are filled. Seth Roberts should be considered a favorite to get one of the two spots remaining. Roberts is the only other receiver the Ravens have with a decent amount of experience catching passes in the NFL. The thing working against Roberts is that he is very similar to Moore, who already has favor with the coaching staff. Roberts should make the team but to say he is a lock is a little premature.

The competition is going to be intense for everybody I haven’t even named yet. Antoine Wesley, Jordan Lasley, Jaleel Scott, Quincy Adeboyejo and Jaylen Smith all have a lot of pressure on them heading into camp.
