2.Michael Pierce: Rated 92 overall

Nose tackles may not get any love in real life, but how about giving Michael Pierce a 92 overall for Madden 20?! Props to the rating team, because they absolutely nailed this.

Sure, Pierce isn’t the stat machine that fans want, but his impact is more on the field than in the numbers. Pierce has 96 strength and 95 block shedding, something a big-man like Pierce is more than deserving of. For a Baltimore Ravens team that values their nose tackles, it’s fitting that they’d be given such a fantastic rating for their nose tackle.

What Pierce will be able to do in 2019 for the Ravens will be important for the defense’s success. Without Pierce moving offensive linemen off their spot with ease, life will be a lot harder for new full-time starters Patrick Onwuasor and Kenny Young. Simply put, a massive player like Pierce is essential to this defense.

The fans aren’t kind to nose tackles, but thankfully the guys running Madden 20 are. This is something the Madden team gets right every year, and we’re thankful once again that people are giving guys like Pierce the love and props they deserve.
