3) Willie Snead

There are a ton of other options here that make sense and from talking to some of the Ravens flock, the most common answers here were Earl Thomas, Marshal Yanda, Mark Andrews, and Patrick Onwuasor.

The last spot goes to Willie Snead for me and the reason is pretty simple. Snead is the only reliable, proven NFL wide receiver that the Ravens currently have on their roster. In a position that lacks experience and depth, taking away Snead’s 211 career receptions leaves the Ravens with 202 total receptions among projected 2019 wide receivers. Furthermore Seth Roberts has 158 of those and many believe he is far from a roster lock.

Snead became one of Lamar’s favorite targets last season along with Andrews as the two combined for 17 completions for 203 yards over Jackson’s seven regular season starts. Snead is hardly an elite receiver, but I shudder to think what the Ravens wide receiver core would look like without their veteran leader.

Injuries are an unfortunate part of every NFL training camp and it is taboo to discuss these types of things as training camp gets underway. With that being said I will now chop down an Amazon Rainforest worth of trees and get to knockin’.
