The Baltimore Ravens are just days away from having their preseason get kicked off. Let’s look at the 7 players who have a chance to steal the show:

7. Kenneth Dixon

Kenneth Dixon knows that he is on his last legs with the Baltimore Ravens. He has an injury history and the Ravens know they can’t depend on Dixon ever supplying more than a burst of production here or there. Dixon is on the roster bubble. With the addition of Justice Hill, Dixon has to go above and beyond just to keep his spot on the team.

Dixon’s potential has always been teasing this fanbase. He’s shown glimpses of being an amazing running back. The Ravens don’t want to wear down Mark Ingram or Gus Edwards in the preseason. Dixon will have ample opportunity. The former Louisiana Tech running back has the kind of eye-popping talent that can make a quick impression. When things go right for Dixon it is exciting.

Stealing the show in preseason is not always a good thing. The most memorable play-makers from the preseason are the players who the Ravens are least invested in. Taquan Mizzell turned heads in the preseason and the Ravens didn’t give him a roster spot. The Ravens drafted Hill and have two other running backs that they really like. Dixon is the running back they are least committed to keeping. He’s capable of having big performances and he could steal the spotlight this preseason. The problem for Dixon is that a good preseason can never prove that he can string it together as a main ingredient in an offense.
