2. Jermaine Eluemunor

While offensive linemen don’t get the lion’s share of the attention, left guard is a battle position that is of great interest to the Ravens Flock. The position is all the sudden Jermaine Eluemunor’s position to lose. Should he hold onto his starting job through the preseason, Eluemunor will be the left guard with the steepest competition. If Eluemunor goes against starters in the preseason and gets the job done, he will win the job.

Other than Jaylon Ferguson, Eluemunor is the only player on this list who has a true chance to be a starter when the Ravens kickoff the regular season. Eluemunor got into football later than most of the players on the roster and he has clearly been a project for the Ravens. The size and athleticism isn’t in doubt. Eluemunor has a chance to show that Ben Powers isn’t going to come in and steal his spot in the starting offense. He has a chance to exceed expectations that weren’t that high in the first place.

The offensive line is the major area of doubt for the offense. The left guard position has to be the most questionable area on the entire roster. If Eluemunor proves that he is the best player for the left guard spot, it will be the talk of the preseason.
