3. The Little things:

There were a lot of little things to like in this game. Cyrus Jones had a great night. Jones is in a competition for the punt returning duties and he did well against the Jaguars. He made good decisions. While most of his work ended in a fair catch, he made the right decision each time and that’s what he’ll be graded on. Justin Bethel made a play on special teams that pinned the Jaguars inside their own five yard line. Iman Marshall made a great tackle on a punt returner early in the fourth quarter. These were the kinds of things that won’t make headlines, yet are nice to see.

There was one play that was very exciting from Miles Boykin. He caught a pass short of the marker and he used his strength and balance to muscle his way for the first down. Tim Williams had a play where he chased down Minshew. Williams won off the edge and didn’t give up even despite the impressive escape effort. It was the little things in this game that really make you happy. There weren’t a lot of penalties and they looked sharp.

Ravens to watch in the Preseason. dark. Next

There is nothing not to be happy about in this game. The Ravens preseason is going to be a lot of fun if it keeps going this way. If this continues cutting the roster down to 53 men will be hard work for John Harbaugh and company.
