Let’s give out three game balls to the players that stood out in tonight’s victory versus the Packers.

Chris Moore

A training camp and preseason star over the last three or so seasons, Moore had himself quite the game tonight. He finished with four receptions, for 54 yards, and one touchdown in less than two quarters. Moore isn’t necessarily fighting for a roster spot. He is more than likely a lock to make the team, so it’s a pleasant sight for coaches and fans to see Moore making plays. Moore has never been given consistent snaps throughout a season and it doesn’t seem to be the plan this season either. That being said, Moore is the kind of player that comes up with a clutch catch every now and again.

The best way to describe Moore when he is on the field is inconsistent. One play he impresses with a great catch but drops an easy pass during the next. Moore is likely the fourth receiver on the Ravens’ depth chart. The chances of him jumping up out of that spot will be based on his play in the next two preseason games.

Moore does draw intrigue and has the speed to match with the type of offense the team wants to run with. When you add in his play on special teams, something that John Harbaugh stresses consistently, Moore receives a game ball tonight. He was the wide receiver who had the best night for the team.
