Outside Linebackers:

32. Matt Judon

33. Tim Williams

34. Tyus Bowser

35. Jaylon Ferguson

36. Pernell McPhee

Hardest Cut: Sometimes you just have to see things as they are. Shane Ray hasn’t shown enough to take a roster spot. The Ravens have to hope that they get enough from their other outside linebackers. We kept hoping that Ray would get his career back on track in Baltimore, yet now we may be seeing why it got derailed in the first place.

The Ravens really could have used the Ray that had eight sacks for the Broncos, in 2016. That Ray may not exist any more and there are players in front of Ray in terms of deserving a roster spot.

Player to highlight: While you haven’t seen much from him in the preseason, the Ravens have been very impressed with Pernell McPhee. He’s in a perfect situation and he is healthy. That could be a great combination that allows him to be a difference maker for the defense. The Ravens really need it and he does add a veteran presence to the position group.
