Safeties:

46. Earl Thomas III

47. Tony Jefferson

48. DeShon Elliott

49. Anthony Levine Sr.

50. Chuck Clark

Hardest cut: Cutting Bennett Jackson will be a miserable task for the Ravens. He has played well this preseason and he’s an easy player to pull for. Jackson just can’t get past the competition. If there was one more roster spot, it would go to him. The Ravens are excited about DeShon Elliott and they know what they have in Anthony Levine Sr. and Chuck Clark.

Player to highlight: Anthony Levine Sr. has a spot on this team for a reason. He is the most versatile safety the Ravens have and he has made some big plays as a Raven. He’s not the star of the show, yet in sub packages , he is an impact player. He is a player that deserves more positive attention than he gets.

Great combination: Earl Thomas and Tony Jefferson are a combination that is perfect. They could be the best starting safety duo in the NFL. Thomas and Jefferson compliment each other perfectly. Thomas has range and is a ball hawk. Jefferson is a tough, physical safety who can do more of what he likes to do.
