Bottom line:

Despite what us fans think, the Baltimore Ravens made the right decisions for their team moving forward. Short of a couple moves, most of the final cuts made sense. The one big surprise was defensive lineman Willie Henry, who showed off plenty of promise wen he was on the field. Unfortunately, staying healthy was always hard for him and Baltimore clearly was ready to move on.

I personally had hope for Gerald Willis III to make the team, but as previously mentioned he is a prime candidate to make the Ravens practice squad. The same can be said of Jaylen Smith, who may have a leg-up on the competition thanks to a connection with Lamar Jackson.

As far as the good moves go, it was a pleasure to see Patrick Mekari make the team for offensive line depth after Baltimore dealt both Alex Lewis and Jermaine Eluemenor this off-season. The decision to hold on to Jaleel Scott was awesome and seeing Trace McSorley fight for his spot was wonderful.

Moving Kenneth Dixon to Injured Reserve is an interesting move, but at least this way they don’t lose a talented running back for nothing. The preseason Patrick Ricard had should have many of thinking he could be a Pro Bowler and will prove that this year in what should be the NFL’s most prolific rushing attack.
