Baltimore Ravens schedule: Predictions for each game
By Darin McCann
4. Sept. 29, host Cleveland
Well, well, well. The upstarts in Cleveland come to Baltimore to put their stamp on their legitimacy to becoming the new bullies of the AFC North. It’s not going to go well for them, as Harbaugh and his staff will win this game with preparation, along with a few splash plays from Jackson. 3-1
5. Oct. 6, @ Pittsburgh
This is the third of what appears to be a tough three-game stretch, and a young Ravens team could have a hard time keeping up their edge for such a span. Pittsburgh is good enough to take advantage of that. 3-2
6. Oct. 13, host Cincinnati
Remember when I said the Ravens would beat the Dolphins because they had better players and more trusted coaches? Same story, 4-2
7. Oct. 20, @ Seattle
This is a game I could see the Ravens lose — a road game against a team that dominates at home, with an elite winning quarterback and a good defense. But the Ravens will run the ball in this game and make some big plays. Semi-surprise win. 5-2
8. Nov. 3, host New England
Ravens come off a good road win and hit the bye with a 5-2 record, and then get back to reality in a very real way against the defending Super Bowl champs. A win here would really help push them into the second half of the season. A loss leaves them at a solid 5-3. 5-3
9. Nov. 10, @ Cincinnati
I don’t think the Bengals are good this season. I think the Ravens are a good team. Past nightmares on the road against the Bengals don’t matter to this young team. 6-3
