The Baltimore Ravens are about to take on the Miami Dolphins to open the 2019 season. Who will shine the brightest for the purple and black? Here is a projection of the top three performers for week 1:

1. Matt Judon:

The Miami Dolphins offensive line isn’t very good. With Laremy Tunsil gone, that may actually be an understatement. It could be a good game for all the Ravens pass rushers, yet Matt Judon should lead the group. Judon is entering a contract year and he will be motivated to get his sack numbers up. He may not get a better chance at getting to the quarterback than he will in this game. Look for Judon to have a two or three sack performance.

Judon had seven sacks a year ago. He knows he has to find a way to get to double digit sacks in 2019. The Ravens are 6.5 point favorites in this game, a line that could be being a little easy on the Dolphins. If the Ravens jump out to an early lead, it plays into the hands of the Ravens pass rush. The Dolphins really don’t have an offensive tackle who can keep Judon from making an impact in this game.

This game should serve as a chance for Judon to inflate his numbers. Last year, Judon had three sacks against the Oakland Raiders. Judon has had at least one game with two sacks in every season of his career. Judon has a chance to have one of the biggest games of his career.
