Start:

QB – Lamar Jackson

After a very solid preseason and training camp Lamar Jackson looks primed to take the next step at quarterback. He has a very safe fantasy floor because of his dynamic rushing ability already built-in. If Lamar improves his passing only a little bit though, he can turn into a fantasy MVP this year, based on how late he went in most drafts.

Jackson gets a juicy week one match-up versus arguably the worst team in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins. This should be a very positive game script for the Ravens so the rushing yards will be there for Jackson. If Jackson can add in just 200+ passing yards along with 50+ rushing yards and a couple of scores, he will be in the 20+ Fantasy Football point range in this game. Jackson will kick off his sophomore campaign with a top-10 QB performance on the week.

RB – Mark Ingram

Another Fantasy Footballl must start on the Ravens is the big off-season addition, running back Mark Ingram. Ingram looks ready to lead the Ravens rushing attack after years down in New Orleans producing rock-solid fantasy numbers.

Gus Edwards and rising rookie Justice Hill will get some touches each game, but it will be Ingram who will get the lion-share of work. Similar to Jackson, Ingram will see plenty of carries versus Miami as this should be a positive game script for the Ravens. 15-20 carries is certainly in range for Ingram on Sunday. I think Ingram is should sure-fire top-15 play at running back this week with RB1 upside if he scores a touchdown or two.
