Richard Bradshaw’s prediction:

Things couldn’t be lining up any better for the Baltimore Ravens to start the season undefeated in week one. The Miami Dolphins appear to be tanking the 2019 season and their roster is depleted of high-end talent. Meanwhile, the Ravens look primed to shock the NFL world in 2019.

The story of the game will be how Baltimore’s offense gels after a massive makeover this off-season. The run-game will return as the focus of the team’s offense, but their new toys outside will make plays, as well. Marquise Brown could be a sensation as a rookie, but second-year tight end Mark Andrews is expected to step up into a Pro Bowl-level talent.

If the offense looks good, the 2019 season could be a fun one for Ravens fans; if not, it could be a grueling one. The Miami defense is far from backbreaking, but it’s not terrible, either. Baltimore certainly has a test at hands.

Defensively, we expect nothing but dominance. The Dolphins lack proven talent at receiver and tight end, and their offensive line may be the worst in the league. The Ravens should have a field day defensively with a chance to pitch a shutout.

Knowing Miami quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, it seems likely the team will put up some points. Still, Fitzpatrick is prone to turnovers and Baltimore will capitalize.

My bold prediction is that the Baltimore Ravens will force five turnovers, but safety Earl Thomas will record two interceptions. As for the score, Baltimore wins this easily by two possessions.

Prediction: Ravens 24 Dolphins 10
