TE – Mark Andrews Stock: UP

There was no player with more buzz about his play during training camp than Mark Andrews, he certainly lived up to the hype on Sunday. “Mandrews” looked like a an absolute beast as he carved up the Dolphins secondary. He caught all 8 of his targets for 108 yards and touchdown. Andrews posted the 3rd best TE fantasy performance of the week with 20.8 points. It was easy to tell after just one game that Andrews will be Lamar’s security blanket this year.

Andrews is a solid bet to lead the Ravens in receptions. It’s his big-play ability is what makes Andrews a rising fantasy option at the tight end position. Hauling in 39-yard receptions like he did on Sunday is something Andrews can do that other tight ends in the league can’t.

The only thing Andrews has going against him is the Ravens usage with their other tight ends Hayden Hurst and Nick Boyle. Both of them played 43 snaps, while Andrews just had 32. So there might be some on an off games for him if he is not efficient like he was on Sunday. However, with this harsh fantasy TE landscape, Andrews can be counted on as a back-end TE1 going forward, with top-tier upside if his big plays continue.
