Lamar Jackson and Terrell Suggs:

What’s a good game-plan for the defense against Lamar Jackson?

"Hopefully having to defend Kyler Murray in practice in Arizona helps as they are similar in their ability to move out of the pocket.  The Cardinals have been known to get burned by scrambling quarterbacks.  Since Jackson has an arm, the secondary should be on alert as well.  Jackson looked great against the Dolphins.  The Cardinals gave up 385-yards to Matthew Stafford on Sunday.  However I think if they are able to keep Jackson limited in running out of the pocket, they will have a chance."

Most teams would go into a game against a dual-threat quarterback and assume they could easily win the match-up by stacking the box and using defensive backs on the outside. That sounds great right up until the game starts and that team starts running it down your throat. It doesn’t help that that “running back at quarterback” can sling the ball around…

For the Arizona Cardinals, they possess a defense that is talented enough to slow down Lamar Jackson, but not stop him. Jackson showed off his arm strength last week vs. the Miami Dolphins and the Cardinals defense just got shredded through the air. Jackson could take a similar approach to this game and beat Arizona with his arm, but they’ll always have to respect his ability to run.

Like Scott Allen said, hopefully they can game plan to slow down Jackson by practicing against Kyler Murray all the time…

What will Terrell Suggs do in his return to Baltimore, Maryland?

"Hard to say.  He had a decent first game against the Lions.  He had two sacks.  I hope to see more!"

Terrell Suggs is coming home to Baltimore, Maryland and I couldn’t be more excited!

As far as we know, things ended on good terms between the Baltimore Ravens and T-Sizzle. While no one wanted to see him go, it was strictly a business decision. Suggs has looked good for the Cardinals thus far, notching two sacks in his first game with the team. The Ravens can only hope that he doesn’t wreck our offense as bad as he did Detroit’s.

Suggs should certainly get a warm welcome from fans and show out their #55 jerseys in respect of one of the best to don the purple and black!
