Mark Andrews:

I promise, I’m not just copy and pasting last week’s edition of three game balls. The chemistry between Jackson and Andrews has been apparent since the day Lamar Jackson took over. The two only built on that chemistry today, in what was another monster game for the Oklahoma product.

Andrews finished the day with eight receptions for 112-yards and a touchdown. On Baltimore’s opening drive, Jackson hit Andrews in stride for a 27-yard touchdown reception. Andrews became the first Ravens tight end to have consecutive 100 receiving yard games. That’s incredible considering the success the Ravens have had at the tight end position throughout their history.

Andrews is asserting himself as one of the top tight ends in the NFL and it’s only his second season. Once again, he displayed his ability to catch in traffic and run after the catch, sometimes taking a few guys along for the ride.

You’d have to imagine that as the season goes on, himself and Jackson are only going to get more and more comfortable with each either, and I am all here for it. The Ravens are at their best when they have a dominant tight end , who can move the chains and stretch the field all at the same time.

I’m looking forward to and expecting to see Andrews mentioned in these articles on a consistent basis all season long.
