QB – Lamar Jackson Projection: 21.1 fantasy points

My prediction: Over

Jackson comes into this game as the number one player in fantasy through two weeks. He is averaging 32.2 fantasy points per game so far. Against this fairly poor Chiefs defense, I think Jackson will easily go over 21.1 points and should get close to the 30 point mark again. Look for Jackson to have a similar mixture of efficient passing, while eating up easy yards on the ground like he did last week against Arizona. Lamar is a top-three QB play this week and has a good shot to finish as the QB1 yet again.

RB – Mark Ingram Projection: 10.3 fantasy points

My prediction: Over

After a RB1 performance in week 1 vs Miami, Ingram surprisingly had a tough time against the Cardinals last week. He finished with only 8.7 fantasy points after a merely 47 yards on 13 carries plus a few receptions. Luckily the Chiefs defense isn’t any better against the run, as they let up 6 yards per carry. This bodes well for Ingram on early down work. However, I don’t envision Ingram getting north of 15 carries as the game script might call for the Ravens to pass more to keep up with the Chiefs. To get over the 10.3 projection line, Ingram must score a touchdown. Even though KC has yet to give up a rushing score, I see Ingram getting into the end-zone this week on the way to an RB2 performance.

WR – Marquise “Hollywood” Brown Projection: 10.8 fantasy points

My prediction: Over

I don’t think anyone would have envision Hollywood Brown being the number three wide receiver in fantasy through two weeks, but here we are. The rookie has been absolutely electric for the Ravens. The chemistry he has already with Jackson has been amazing to see, given how much time he missed during camp.

Brown has 13 targets last week, that is unbelievable volume for a player who only needs a few touches a game to be fantasy relevant. It looks like Brown will be a major part of the offense this season and gets a nice match-up against this shaky KC secondary. In this track meet type of game, it’s easy to see Hollywood getting a big play or two and going over his 10.8 projection total.

TE – Mark Andrews Projection: 10.5 fantasy points

My prediction: Over

I am going 4 out of 4 on the overs for Ravens players this week, as “Mandrews” should continue his elite TE fantasy production. Andrews, like Jackson has been the number 1 fantasy player at his position through two weeks. It makes sense, as Andrews has literally been unarguable this season as Jackson’s number 1 target.

He has caught 16 of 17 targets. Including 12 of those receptions being first downs, and 6 of those receptions being 20+ yard gains. In other words, Mark Andrews is putting up stats that would make his opponent, Travis Kelce blush. Fire up Andrews as a top-4 TE play this week and watch him continue to ball out.
