Welcome to the Ebony Bird round table as we get ready for Ravens vs. Chiefs. Here the Ebony Bird squad make their picks for the big week 3 game.

Site Expert Chris Schisler: Ravens win 27-24

The Baltimore Ravens are the better overall team. The Kansas City Chiefs have a great offense however their defense still isn’t dominant. The Ravens offense is on a roll, and if they figure some things out defensively, Kansas City could be outmatched. That’s not something that’s going to happen to the Chiefs very much. Patrick Mahomes is amazing. Travis Kelce is amazing. The offense of the Chiefs is Super Bowl worthy. The Ravens play a few Super Bowl contenders this season and the Chiefs are certainly one of them. The fact that I think th eRavens have the bestter overall team is a very huge deal. I’m not sure I felt that way in August.

Baltimore comes into this game with the number one offense in the league. If the Ravens can run the football well and Lamar Jackson can continue to find receivers on third down, the Ravens have a chance to keep the offense on the field in this game. I have a ton of confidence in Don Martindale and the defense will come to play in this game. The Chiefs won’t have an easy walk in their Arrowhead park. They will have to earn every yard. This game is going to be one of the toughest games for the Ravens this season and the same could be said for the Chiefs. If the Ravens are as good as we think they are, they have a chance to win this football game.

This is a prove it game for the Ravens. This is a big moment for the Ravens because they haven’t played anyone all that tough to this point. This is when the Ravens show that they are for real. The Ravens have a chance in this game so I’m going to give them the edge out of optimism. Give me the Ravens 27-24. The run game will get rolling, Lamar Jackson will prevail and Baltimore will rejoice.

Bold Predictions:

  • Mark Andrews leads all players in this game in receptions and receiving yards
  • The Ravens force two turnovers
