Site Expert Richard Bradshaw:

The game of the week is going to end up being a 1:00 pm EST game… However, that won’t stop this from being one of the best games of the year.

The quarterback duel between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes will be one of the best we’ll see all year. Both quarterbacks have been playing at an MVP-caliber level, and the sparks are bound to fly when they meet up on the field.

While the Baltimore Ravens defense isn’t as dynamic as it was in 2018, it still should be enough to slow down Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense. Nonetheless, this will be a high-scoring affair for both teams; with it likely coming down to who has the ball last.

If the Ravens are to come away with a victory in Arrowhead Stadium, it will be because Lamar Jackson continues to play at a high-level and the team doesn’t turn the ball over. It will also be vital to keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes’ hands, and take as much time off the clock as possible; the less time that Mahomes has the better.

With the way that Baltimore has been rolling to start the season, I can easily see them pull out a victory; even in perhaps the hardest place to play in the NFL. For this to happen, Lamar Jackson needs to throw for over 300-yards and account for at least four touchdowns. I believe this is certainly within his realm.

Bold prediction: Lamar Jackson tosses 300+ yards and totals four touchdowns

Score prediction: Ravens 43 Chiefs 38
