For the Baltimore Ravens to take down the Cleveland Browns in week four, they must focus on these three key points to lead them to a victory:
Silence Nick Chubb:
With how poor Baker Mayfield has played thus far in 2019, it’ll be important to harass him for 60 minutes and make him as uncomfortable as possible. To do this, the Baltimore Ravens must focus on quieting the run-game early on by keying in on Nick Chubb.
Chubb has been a stud to start the 2019 season with over 200 rushing yards to his name. With the Cleveland Browns offense struggling to stay consistent, Chubb has been a sight for sore eyes for the team. Taking him away will cause Cleveland’s offense to stutter.
The Ravens have the necessary pieces to do this. Once they suffocate the Browns offensive line with their massive defensive front, lanes will shrink and Chubb will be neutralized. Cleveland doesn’t necessarily have the depth at running back to keep Chubb fresh, either, making it a somewhat more manageable task for Baltimore.
If Baltimore plans to shut down the Browns offense, it’ll start with Chubb.

When you have to go up against Myles Garrett, he immediately becomes priority no.1. The Baltimore Ravens offensive line as a good unit with Ronnie Stanley and Orlando Brown Jr. manning the left and right tackle spots respectively. They’ll once again have their hands full vs. the 2018 Pro Bowl edge rusher.
Garrett’s partner in crime, Olivier Vernon, hasn’t recorded a sack yet in 2019 but this is a great opportunity for him to do so. Baltimore cannot overlook Vernon’s rushing ability, even with their attention being devoted to Garrett.
The Browns defensive line has talent, too, thanks to Larry Ogunjobi and Sheldon Richardson. The Ravens interior offensive line will need to step up big-time, as Marshal Yanda can’t do it alone.
Stopping the Browns pass rush will be the key to success offensively, as giving Lamar Jackson a clean pocket will allow him to torch the defense with his legs, as well as…
Take some deep shots:
To beat the Cleveland Browns soundly, the Baltimore Ravens offense must fire on all cylinders. To do this, the team must get Marquise Brown heavily involved this week.
Brown has looked solid all season long for the Ravens, emerging as the team’s no.1 receiver and one of the best rookie wide receivers this season. Brown has already topped the 200-yards receiving mark on the year with over 20 YPR. Getting him the opportunity to stretch the Browns deep will be vital to their success.
While getting tight end Mark Andrews will also be crucial, and I believe he will also be a big part of the team’s game-plan, it’s Brown who will be the biggest difference maker. Getting “Hollywood” the opportunity to stretch the defense will set the tone early and open up the run-game for Baltimore. As we know, when the Ravens can establish the run, they typically win games.
This upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns appears to be a very winnable one for the Baltimore Ravens. While it will take more than three key components to win this crucial division game, accomplishing these three tasks will up their chances. The Browns were over-hyped coming into the 2019 season, and now they run into a determined Ravens squad who is looking to show the world that they’re the real contenders for the AFC North crown.
