More defensive players: Notice a trend?

Earl Thomas III: The secondary is the big key in this game. It’s what could give the Browns a chance. That’s why Earl Thomas has to step up. The Ravens brought him here to take away the big play and to make big plays of his own. He got an interception in the season opener however he’s had a very quiet couple of weeks since then. If the Ravens want to win this game they have to have Thomas be a difference maker.

This is a chance for Thomas to lead the team. He was a big free agent acquisition. Things aren’t going right in the back end of the defense and he’s the player who has to make up for that. Thomas has 29 career interceptions. This would be a good time for him to add to those totals. He can’t just be the last line of defense, he must be a ball hawk. That’s what the Ravens paid him for.

Tim Williams and Tyus BowserWe’ve been waiting for this a while but can Tim Williams and Tyus Bowser just step up already? Three weeks into the season (a put up or shut up season for them) and neither of them have a sack. The Ravens have gotten five tackles out of them and not a ton of pass rush. This game could be decided by how much pressure the Ravens can give Baker Mayfield. This is a game where they need to show me something.
