At the quarter mark of the 2019 season, we start our first 2020 NFL Draft mock with the Baltimore Ravens picking inside the top-ten… Who will they select?

The 2020 NFL Draft is months away, but that won’t stop us from mocking the draft way out in advance. Face it, mock drafts are fun and bring about the best (and worst) in fans in terms of debate; exactly why we are putting together our own.

If the 2019 season ended today, our Baltimore Ravens would somehow wind up with the ninth overall pick (via nfl.com). What would/should the Ravens do with that pick? That’s what we’re here to discuss.

However, until the ninth pick here’s our first Ebony Bird mock draft of the season! The Washington Redskins are now on the clock…

1. Washington Redskins: Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State

The Washington Redskins have “earned” the rights to the first overall pick and stay loyal to 2019 first round pick Dwayne Haskins. Washington takes perhaps the 2020 NFL Draft’s best prospect in edge rusher Chase Young. Young is elite and could be a Pro Bowler year-one.

2. Denver Broncos: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

The Denver Broncos also stay loyal to their 2019 NFL Draft investment, Drew Lock, and pass on quarterback. Instead, they shore up the offensive line with an elite run blocker in Andrew Thomas who can blossom into a top-ten left tackle.

3. Cincinnati Bengals: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

Lady luck finds Cincinnati Bengals a franchise quarterback with the third overall pick in lefty Tua Tagovailoa. Tua is a National Champion winning quarterback with superb accuracy and a skill-set that will take the Bengals offense from stagnant to dangerous immediately.

4. Miami Dolphins: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Somehow the Miami Dolphins all-out tank has them picking fourth and missing out on the Tua Tagovailoa sweepstakes. They’ll instead take Justin Herbert, whose upside is intriguing but has a low floor.
