9. Baltimore Ravens: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

With the ninth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select… Tee Higgins. Wide receiver, Clemson.

Maybe not the pick that Ravens Flock wants, but hear me out on this…

For starters, we’ve seen that the best teams in the NFL have offenses that have play-makers littered throughout their lineups. In Higgins, Baltimore has added another speedy receiver with size to play outside. Having Higgins join Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin sounds like a match made in Heaven.

An underrated factor in Higgins game is his deep speed; something we’ve always seen the Ravens fall for. Higgins also comes from a proven school in Clemson that churns out wide receiver talent on an annual basis. Higgins would take this offense over the top and make the team’s wide receiver depth chart rival some of the best in the league.

The trio of Higgins, Brown, and Boykin coupled with the trio of tight ends in Mark Andrews, Hayden Hurst, and Nick Boyle a fierce group for Lamar Jackson to play with. Add in a running back stable featuring Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill and this offense is stacked.

Good things come in threes, and the Baltimore Ravens top three wide receivers would give them an offense that can routinely put up 30+ points a game. The Ravens would be able to keep pace with anyone, making Tee Higgins a smart and valuable pick with the ninth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
