The Top 10:

10) Buffalo Bills

I am high on the Bills this year and a hotly contested loss to the Patriots in Week Four isn’t going to change that. Their defense held Tom Brady and the Pats offense to 224 total yards. Keep an eye on Josh Allen‘s health as they head to Tennessee.

9) Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks find themselves in the top 10 sitting at 3-1 and looking ahead to a date with the Rams on Thursday night. This is a huge game for both teams as they jockey for position in the NFC West.

8) Chicago Bears

The Bears have been stifling on defense which is a surprise to no one. They have been equally as terrible on offense however. Might the Bears be better off with backup QB Chase Daniel who led them to a win last week against the Vikings?

7) San Francisco 49ers

The Niners enjoyed their bye week last week and will look to remain undefeated against the rejuvenated Browns this Monday night. If they emerge victorious, Kyle Shanahan and company will continue to climb in the rankings.

6) Green Bay Packers

The Eagles were the more desperate team last Thursday and they looked it. Green Bay’s defense was questioned for the first time this week giving up 34 to Carson Wentz and company after three straight great defensive performances. Next up? Dallas on the road Sunday.

5) Dallas Cowboys

I know people will cry that the Cowboys haven’t beaten anyone, but you only play who is on your schedule. They have smoked three teams though and barely lost at the Saints which is as tough a place to play as any. This is still a Super Bowl caliber team.

4) Los Angeles Rams

What on earth was that? A double nickel at home against Famous Jameis and the Bucs after a gutsy road win in Cleveland. Maybe they were looking ahead to Thursday night’s matchup with the Seahawks.

3) New Orleans Saints

Teddy Bridgewater is 2-0 and the Saints welcome the Bucs to town on Sunday with a chance to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the NFC South.

2) Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs were pushed for the first time this season last week in Detroit. It was still too much Mahomes for the Lions to overcome. That defense still can’t quite figure things out having surrendered 420+ yards for the third time in four weeks.

1) New England Patriots

It wasn’t pretty but it doesn’t have to be. The Patriots escaped Buffalo with a 16-10 win on the strength of a blocked punt. Keep an eye on their kicking game as All-Pro kicker Stephen Gostkowski has been placed on IR for the year. That won’t matter against the woeful Redskins on Sunday.
