Ronnie Stanley and Marshal Yanda

Ronnie Stanley deserves his first trip to the Pro Bowl. He’s having his best season and it’s helping the offense out a lot. Stanley has been very solid in pass protection and a powerful run blocker. The reason that Stanley is a Pro Bowl left tackle is that he takes great defensive players out of the equation of a game. Myles Garrett only had one tackle against the Ravens last week. That was the kind of game where quietly going about your business is incredibly impressive.

Stanley came into the season as a top tier left tackle. In the first four games of the 2019 season he has played like a top five player at his position. Another player who leads the pack at his position is Marshal Yanda. Yanda is no stranger to the Pro Bowl as he has seven times. He has the name recognition to get him on the fast track to a Pro Bowl spot and his play backs that up.

The Ravens have the number one rushing attack in the NFL. These two offensive linemen are a big part of that. These are the Ravens stars that don’t get the most headlines or attention. That doesn’t matter. They are as good as it gets and they deserve to be in the Pro Bowl.
