2. Who replaces Tony Jefferson?

According to reports, Tony Jefferson is out for the season with a torn ACL. The defense just lost their strong safety. Jefferson may have been struggling but he was a leader. Chuck Clark filled in for Jefferson against the Steelers. Clark is the most natural replacement for Jefferson. Other than Anthony Levine Sr. he has the most experience. DeShon Elliott could be an exciting option.

Elliott is probably the best athlete and he has ball skills. Elliott was a play-maker for the Texas Longhorns from 2015-2017. He had interceptions and two defensive touchdowns in his final season of college football. He ended up with nine interceptions and three forced fumbles in three years at Texas. Clark is the safest option. Elliott is the exciting option. Elliott missed the entire 2018 season because of injury. There has been a lot of buzz around Elliott and now could be the time for him to show why.

The problem the Ravens have is that each of their safeties not named Earl Thomas III. have the same skill-set. Like Jefferson, the Ravens safety depth is filled with players with limited coverage ability. This is going to put a lot of pressure on Thomas, no matter who steps up.
