3. Can the offense find consistency?

The Ravens have been inconsistent on offense despite having healthy statistical output. When the offense is clicking it is absolutely beautiful. When things are in full gear, Jackson is a great dual threat quarterback, Mark Ingram looks unstoppable and Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews eat up down the field. When the offense isn’t feeling it you see Jackson misfires, a stifled ground game and a lack of big plays. The Ravens are capable of looking like the best offense in football and they are also capable of looking like one of the worst. The problem is that in the Ravens last three games they have done a good bit of both.

Last week Jackson tossed his first two interceptions of the season. After the Steelers game he has 5 interceptions on the year. Jackson has been sacked 15 times this season, and it’s worth pointing out that he is the hardest quarterback to catch in the NFL. We’ve seen two different Mark Ingram’s. One Ingram is an unstoppable force that gets over 100 yards without a ton of touches. The other Ingram gets bottled up for about 50 yards and a tough day on the job.

The Ravens need to be able to do more than just throw the football to Andrews and Brown. They both have over 20 receptions and 300 yards receiving. The next best receiving threats are Willie Snead and Hayden Hurst, who both have 12 catches on the year. The offense shows so much potential but that potential goes both ways. They are capable of long clock eating drives but they can’t string them together right now. They need other players to step up besides Ingram, Brown and Andrews. They also need Jackson to be consistent.
