The Baltimore Ravens have a battle with the Cincinnati Bengals today. Here is how the Ebony Bird crew sees this game going.

Site Expert: Chris Schisler

This game will be a get right game for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have the match up advantages in this one. The Ravens haven’t played at a level that merits over confidence yet the Bengals have been much less inspiring this season. Baltimore needs to start moving in the right direction and getting a win in this game is a good place to start. The Ravens need to get to 4-2 to set themselves up for a tougher portion of their schedule. Will the Ravens do things in this game that will drive you a little bit crazy? Absolutely. Will they lose this game? They better not and I have a hard time believing that they will.

The Ravens offense should be able to get things going in this game with the run. The Bengals have a hard time stopping the run. In fact, only one team in the NFL ranks worse than they do against the ground game. There are only two ways for the Bengals to stop the rushing attack of the purple and black. The Ravens can either give a poor blocking performance or the Bengals can sell out to stop the run. If the Bengals over commit to stopping the run, Lamar Jackson should have it easier in the passing game. The play-action pass could be a big part of the game plan.

Give me the Ravens to take care of a game that shouldn’t be a chore. They could make it more frustrating than it should be but they should get the win. Look for the Ravens to win this game by two or more scores. This is their chance to get things rolling heading into a tough game against the Seahawks. I’ll give you three predictions and a score:

  • Willie Snead has 100 yards receiving
  • Matt Judon has two sacks
  • Lamar Jackson scores three touchdowns
  • Ravens win 41-10
