Site Expert, Richard Bradshaw:

The Baltimore Ravens should absolutely stomp the Cincinnati Bengals when they roll into Charm City… which is exactly why it’ll be a closer game than we would like.

Lets face it, the Ravens never beat bad teams the way they’re supposed to. Their week one dominance over the Miami Dolphins is an outlier until further notice, as there’s too much history to support the former claim. Still, Baltimore should be able to smack Cincinnati around offensively.

The Bengals defense is horrendous, ranking 30th in the league in total yards allowed per game. This makes up a great recipe for the Ravens offense for Fantasy Football purposes. Should everyone be healthy, particularly Marquise Brown, Baltimore’s offense will put on a fireworks show.

The problem is the Ravens defense remains incredibly flawed and will likely allow the Bengals to have some big plays offensively and keep them somewhat in the game. Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd should both have solid days against the Baltimore defense… that is unless Boyd spends most of his day against Marlon Humphrey.

At the end of this game, I expect the Baltimore Ravens to put up a high-score but have the Cincinnati Bengals a little to close for comfort. This will be a win by two possessions, but it won’t feel as good as we want it to.

Bold prediction: Marquise Brown tops week one yards (147), scores a touchdown 50+ yards *if healthy*

Ravens accumulate five sacks

Score projection: Ravens 33 Bengals 17
