How can the Baltimore Ravens go into Seattle and take down a Super Bowl contender? Here are three ways they can get the job done:

1. Lamar Jackson has a signature moment:

How can the Ravens beat the Seahawks? It starts with Lamar Jackson. The Ravens need Lamar Jackson to have one of the best games of his young career. The Ravens can’t win this game if Jackson struggles, but if he has another history making performance they have a chance. Jackson has the chance to make things happen with his arm and his legs in a unique way as a quarterback. Seattle may think they’re ready for the Jackson show, however Jackson is one of the hardest players for opposing teams to prepare for. Last week, Jackson was the first quarterback who had 200 yards passing in a game and 150 rushing yards. That kind of performance in Seattle could sink the Seahawks.

The Seahawks have placed a huge emphasis on pass rush this season. They made a deal to get Jadeveon Clowney. The Ravens will have to do a good job of pass protection but it is inevitable that Jackson will have to deliver big plays with his legs. Jackson’s escape-ability is the biggest asset the Ravens have in this game. The Seahawks are hoping they can break down plays by getting in the backfield but they could just create chances for Jackson to do his thing. If Jackson can avoid quarterback sacks and extend plays in an almost backyard football style, the Seahawks’ defense is very exploitable.

The Seahawks defense ranks 23rd against the pass and they give up 24.3 points per game. This is a game where the offense has to keep pace with the Seahawks. Jackson is the key. If number eight puts up big numbers, the Ravens will be in this game all the way until the end. The Seahawks have a great defensive front. The run game is going to be hard to establish without loosening it up with the passing attack. Jackson is the number one ingredient.
