3. Justice Hill:

The Ravens need to get all of their running backs involved and there is only so many touches to go around. That being said, Justice Hill has been under utilized. He is such a great athlete and the Ravens have to do a better job of remembering that. Hill has only had 18 rushing attempts for 78 yards. He’s only had three receptions. He’s more talented than his stats show and his talent merits more action than he’s getting in this offense. Hill has the chance to be a dangerous play-maker but he’s being used as a third running back.

In terms of talent there isn’t much of a difference between Hill and Gus Edwards. Edwards is more of a downhill power back and Hill is more of a speedy do it all running back. Their different styles they are equally talented. Edwards has gotten 52 rushing attempts. Hill shouldn’t be an after thought and his ability to contribute in a bunch of different ways is being wasted. Hill should have more than a few receptions at this point in the season. He’s a player you want to see matched up against a linebacker in the passing game. The Ravens need to get him in the open field.

Hill is ready to roll. He’s not a player that is struggling with the transition from College Football to the NFL. Every time Hill has touched the football it has gone well for the purple and black. He had five carries for 31 yards against the Bengals and didn’t get in the box score against the Seahawks. The Ravens just aren’t using him that much. Mark Ingram II is the star of the show, but there is room for Hill in the backfield.
