It’s almost Halloween and the NFL should be in a frightful mood as they see how good this Baltimore Ravens team could be:

Scary good reason 1: The Ravens are road tested

The Baltimore Ravens have won a couple of tough games on the road this year. They are 3-1 on the road this season, with their only loss away from M&T Bank Stadium coming to the Kansas City Chiefs. On their resume is a dominant win in Seattle and a tough win in Pittsburgh. The Ravens have arguably played their best football away from Baltimore. The Seahawks game has been their biggest accomplishment of the season. The 59-10 win in Miami was a showcase of their talent and potential, despite the Dolphins being terrible.

The fact of the matter is that the Ravens are dangerous no matter where they play. The Ravens have half of their road games already completed. Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Seattle were the toughest trips of the year. The Ravens still have road games against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Los Angeles Rams, the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills. The Rams will be a tough test however the trip to Seattle seemed more daunting. The Browns have been on a downward trajectory and it will be a revenge game for the purple and black. The Bengals are horrible. Believe it or not, Buffalo may be the hardest road contest left. Winning in Seattle proves that all four of the Ravens road games to come are winnable games.

The old saying in football is that teams have to pack their running game and their defense. The Ravens rushing attack leads the league by a good margin and the defense is starting to click. The Ravens are trying to win home field in the playoffs, however they will be a tough out no matter where the battle occurs. Joe Flacco won the most playoff road games in NFL history. Lamar Jackson is already showing that anything Flacco could do, he can do better. Don’t bet against John Harbaugh in a big road game. That’s the moral of this story.
