While the Baltimore Ravens had their week eight bye, there was still plenty of action across the AFC landscape during their time off.

It’s always nice to have a week off, sit back, and not have to worry about winning or losing. That’s exactly what the Baltimore Ravens got to do in week eight of the 2019 season. The break was well deserved, as the Ravens sit at 5-2 on the season with a firm grasp on the AFC North division.

Meanwhile, the AFC as a whole had some exciting games with some of them being very telling of what to expect moving forward. Some teams, like the Kansas City Chiefs, remained competitive vs. a good team in the Green Bay Packers despite missing Patrick Mahomes. Others, like the rival Cincinnati Bengals, are still dead in the water and look like a complete lost cause.

Meanwhile, the wildcard spots will be a fun race to watch. Even after losing this week, the Buffalo Bills look like a strong team capable of pushing for a wild card spot.
