Baltimore Ravens:

October record: 3-0

The Baltimore Ravens 37-20 thrashing of the previously undefeated New England Patriots was fantastic, but the success was built off the heat that they made throughout the month of October. Baltimore went undefeated during the spooky-season, with wins over the Seattle Seahawks and AFC North division rival Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a good month for the Ravens.

Baltimore entered November at 5-2 fresh off a bye week. The team was rejuvenated, coming off their best defensive performance of the season on the road vs. the Seahawks. Newly acquired cornerback Marcus Peters immediately gave the Ravens what they paid for with a pick-six. Marlon Humphrey also had himself a scoop-and-score touchdown.

What’s been truly magical this season for the team has been the offense. The run game is absolutely dynamic and on pace to be record-setting behind quarterback Lamar Jackson. Jackson is playing at an MVP caliber level both with his arm and his legs. Jackson is on pace to set the single-season quarterback rushing yards record while also being a dynamic passer. The best part of his 2019 season has been his lack of turnovers, but the plays speak for themselves:

With the way the Baltimore Ravens are playing football right now, they should be favorites not only to win the AFC North crown but to run the table in the AFC as a whole. Baltimore is red-hot right now, and no team in the NFL wants to face them.
