Terrell Lewis:
The Baltimore needs an elite pass rusher, and thankfully the 2020 NFL Draft has more than a few for the team to fancy. I talked during the 2019 NFL Draft season about why a healthy Terrell Lewis would be a good fit for the team, and I still firmly believe this.
This has proven to be true, as the Alabama Crimson Tide edge rusher has produced 6.0 sacks this season and has been a terror for offensive coordinators everywhere. His blend of ferocity and speed make him a deadly asset for any defense, and his 6’5″ 252-lbs. build gives him the versatility desired in modern defenses.
For the Ravens, Lewis would give their pass rush a MAJOR boost. Really, anything helps at this point, but Lewis would likely be the team’s top pass rusher; especially if they’re unable to resign Matt Judon. However, even if Judon returns the team still needs proper depth and help at the position, as we’ve learned quickly how much they miss Terrell Suggs.
Having Judon secured with Terrell Lewis and potentially Jaylon Ferguson would give the Baltimore Ravens a terrific pass rush. With a defensive secondary loaded with talent and a defensive line full of gap eaters, Lewis would be the final piece to a retooling defense.
