27. Baltimore Ravens: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma

Kenneth Murray is a stud at linebacker and could become a hot commodity for a 2020 NFL Draft class that is weak in-depth at the position. Murray is tackling machine with open-field quickness and instincts to get to the ball in a hurry. The Baltimore Ravens have someone like that in Patrick Onwuasor, but should he leave in Free Agency this offseason, Baltimore will need a replacement.

Honestly, even if “Peanut” Onwuasor stays, the Ravens still need help at the linebacker spot.

For those who are big Onwuasor fans, you’ll love Kenneth Murray. Murray plays very similarly to the former with his ability to find his way to the football. Murray has 7.0 sacks and 20.0 TFLs in the last season-and-a-half alone. While turnovers haven’t come as often, it’s nonetheless impressive when you turn on Oklahoma’s tape and see #9 flying around the field.

With the loss of C.J. Mosley this offseason, Baltimore’s defense has been brutalized on a weekly basis. Sure, the unit is improving each week, but there’s no debating that they were in better shape when they had consistency at the middle linebacker spot. In Murray, the team is getting an elite tackler who is getting smarter and smarter with each year. Murray would be a good replacement for Mosley and could even end up outplaying what the latter did.

Baltimore has to make improvements to their defense to keep up with their new and improved offense, and the addition of Kenneth Murray does exactly that.
