Ian Schultz makes his pick:

The Ravens head to Cincinnati to take on a winless Bengals team this Sunday. The contest will see the Ravens hoping to get to 7-2 on the season and keep themselves in the running for a first round bye in the AFC Playoff picture.

In the two games that MVP candidate Lamar Jackson has started against the Bengals in his career, the Ravens have rushed for 536 yards on 96 carries. Jackson alone has had 45 carries for 271 yards and a touchdown against the NFL’s worst rushing defense. The game plan should be pretty simple on Sunday as the Ravens should pound the rock with Jackson, Mark Ingram, and Gus Edwards.

Defensively, the Ravens won’t have any tape to look at in regards to new Bengals starting QB Ryan Finley who takes over for the benched Andy Dalton. Finley will not have the services of Ravens killer A.J. Green who is still looking to make his 2019 debut as he recovers from an ankle injury. His best weapons will be Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, and Auden Tate, the last of which torched the Ravens in the first match up targeting the recently released Maurice Canady.

For a bold prediction this week let’s go with the Ravens going over 275 total yards rushing and threatening to push the 300+ mark.

Final score: Ravens 31-17
