The Baltimore Ravens have to wait until next Monday to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Here is why the Ravens are going to win the prime time game:

1. The Ravens will make the Rams one dimensional

The key for the Baltimore Ravens is to stop the running game of the Rams. When the Rams have been forced to be one dimensional, their offense has fluttered. The Texans were supposed to be able to run on the Ravens; how did that work out for them? The Ravens are going to give Todd Gurley a rough day at work. It’s going to boil down to how Jared Goff holds up against a very confident Ravens defense.

Goff has not looked worth the investment the Rams have made in him. If he just made a couple more throws in the Super Bowl, the Ravens would be playing the defending Super Bowl champions on Monday night. Goff has 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season. When he has played good defenses bad things have happened. He threw two interceptions against the Steelers, and is coming off a 173 yard performance against the Bears. In a game against the San Francisco 49ers he went 13-24 for just 78 yards, and he was sacked four times.

The Ravens have topped Russell Wilson, Tom Brady and Deshaun Watson in their recent games. The Rams offense is capable of playing well. Jared Goff is capable of looking like a Pro Bowl quarterback however it’s not what you get on a week to week basis. The Rams’ receivers are good, yet so were the Seahawks’ and Texans’ targets. The Ravens defense just sacked an MVP candidate seven times. The defense has found a pass rush, the one thing they were missing. There is no way to argue that the Ravens defense shouldn’t have the upper hand here.
