The Baltimore Ravens take on the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football. Here is a preview of the game, with players to keep an eye on for both teams:

The Baltimore Ravens have a tough battle coming their way tonight. The Los Angeles Rams are hosting them tonight, in one of the biggest showdowns of the week. The Rams are the defending NFC Champions but they are in a muddled fight for a wild card spot. The Ravens are the hottest team in football and they’re going for their seventh straight win. There have been some clunkers on the Monday Night stage (think New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns or the New England Patriots vs. the New York Jets). Ravens vs. Rams is a match up that’s more than worthy of the national audience. Regardless who you root for, this is not a night to go to bed early.

The biggest intrigue of this match up is how the Ravens offense will do against the Rams defense. The Rams defense only allows 19.8 points per game (this is impressive considering they gave up 55 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers). The Rams have the 11th best defense in the league and rank fourth in run defense. Aaron Donald is the best defensive tackle in football. The Texans came into their battle with the Ravens with the third best run defense and after the game they were outside of the top 10. Will the Rams be able to slow the Ravens down?

The Rams have shown much more weaknesses than the Ravens. The Rams have offensive line woes and are getting inconsistent production from Jared Goff. Todd Gurley only has 525 rushing yards on the season. The Ravens have rushed for over 2,000 yards as a team this year, while the Rams haven’t eclipsed 1,000 total rushing yards. The Rams have been held to under 20 points two games in a row. The Ravens have put up over 30 points for their last four games. The Rams are a six win team with a ton of talent. This will be interesting yet the Ravens come into this game as the favorites for a reason.
