Site Expert, Richard Bradshaw:

The Baltimore Ravens offense vs. the San Francisco 49ers defense will be a hell of a match-up, but I’m looking forward to seeing Baltimore’s defense take on San Francisco’s offense.

The 49ers can run the ball at will with Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida leading the charge. Their offensive line is playing well, as is Jimmy Garoppolo and his new weapons. Deebo Samuel is the best wide receiver no one is talking about, and Emmanuel Sanders has been a seamless fit in the bay.

This will present an excellent challenge for the Ravens, who have the cover-men to slow down this offense. Baltimore can stack the box and force Garoppolo to beat them with his arm. If they do this, I think they can gain the edge.

Marcus Peters is playing at an All-Pro level, and Marlon Humphrey isn’t far behind. Throw in Jimmy Smith and you’ve got three erasers at corner plus safety help from Earl Thomas and some versatility in Brandon Carr. If the team can get any sort of pass rush, Baltimore can make this game ugly.

Offensively, the Ravens will do what they normally do. I’m sorry 49ers fans, but there isn’t a single defense that has a real answer for Lamar Jackson and this offensive unit. These guys completely dismantled an elite New England Patriots defense, and I don’t see Nick Bosa being able to stop Jackson by himself.

I expect the San Francisco 49ers to put up a good showing, but they won’t be able to out-do what the Baltimore Ravens are doing right now. This game will be closer than the scoreboard indicates, but I’ll take Baltimore by two-or-more possessions.

Bold prediction: Lamar Jackson rushes for 100-yards, passes for 200-yards and three touchdowns. Defense forces three turnovers

Score prediction: Ravens 34, 49ers 20
