Ravens beat 49ers 20-17: Questions, Comments, and Concerns
Addressing the questions, comments and concerns following the Baltimore Ravens 20-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers by way of a 49-yard Justin Tucker field goal. The Ravens, now 10-2, have tightened their grip on the AFC North and have temporarily secured the AFC’s top seed with the Patriots’ loss to the Texans on Sunday Night Football.
The Ravens are on a Thanos-Esque tear of knocking off the league’s top teams on their quest for the NFL’s Infinity Gauntlet: the Lombardi Trophy. They have done so against what many believe to be the toughest part of their schedule. But not all of them have been thrillers like Sunday’s 20-17 victory.
Naturally, Raven fans—and Earl Thomas—are beginning to look ahead at the postseason and draw their conclusions about the glory that awaits us. I, too, have high hopes for this team but in the words of our great coach, “We’re 10-2 and we ain’t done nothin’ yet.” Without further ado, allow me to introduce you to the first installment of Questions, Comments, & Concerns.
