Baltimore Ravens:

November record: 4-0

The Baltimore Ravens are in first place of the AFC North with a chance to clinch the AFC North crown this weekend vs. the Buffalo Bills. Should the team win and the Pittsburgh Steelers lose, Baltimore will have clinched the division back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2011-2012 seasons.

The Ravens are red-hot right now and it’s thanks in large part to the play of MVP-front runner Lamar Jackson. Jackson threw 13 touchdown passes with zero interceptions in November while adding three more scores on the ground. Against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jackson threw a perfect passer rating behind an 88.2% completion and three touchdown passes. He’s simply been unstoppable.

Baltimore’s defense has also been getting hot at the right time, and cornerback Marcus Peters is making a serious play for Defensive Player of the Year. Peters intercepted two more passes in November, including a pick-six vs. the Bengals. Peters has been the perfect addition to the Baltimore Ravens and has been the catalyst for the defense’s success lately.

Simply put, the Ravens are firing on all cylinders right now. They beat the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and Los Angeles Rams in the month of November. All three of those teams won their division in 2018 and two of them appeared in Super Bowl LIII. If that doesn’t impress you, I’m not sure what will.

Right now, the Baltimore Ravens are the team to beat in the entire NFL, let alone the AFC North. This team is a legit title contender and the likely favorite to win the AFC and appear in Super Bowl LIV.
