2. Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen:

The 2018 NFL Draft was about Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen at the time. Since then, it has been Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen who have established themselves as the best two quarterbacks of the draft class. Mayfield can have the commercials, Jackson and Allen are turning their teams into winners.

Jackson is the front-runner for the NFL’s MVP award. He has a chance to break Mike Vick’s single season rushing record for a quarterback in this game. Jackson also has 25 passing touchdowns and two games with a perfect passer rating. The Bills have turned themselves into a probable playoff team with Allen under center. The Bills finally have a quarterback that can get the job done and there is a ton of talent around him. Allen is completing over 60 percent of his passes and has 2,591 and 16 touchdowns this season.

Jackson is the best dual threat quarterback in the NFL (Jackson is probably already the most dynamic player we’ve seen at the position in terms of athleticism). Allen is a quarterback who can pick up a good bit of yards on the ground as well. Allen has over 90 rushing attempts and 430 yards on the season. He’s not Jackson, but the Ravens have to account for Allen in the running game.

There is a natural rivalry between Jackson and Mayfield because of the Baltimore Ravens relationship with the Cleveland Browns. These two players were meant to be rivals and being division foes certainly heats things up. That being said, Allen is Jackson’s top peer from the 2018 draft class.
