The Baltimore Ravens have a Thursday Night Football game against the New York Jets. Here are three things the Ravens Flock should want to see happen:

1. Get back to dominating:

The Baltimore Ravens have won nine straight games and the last two wins were the hardest to earn. The Ravens offense has gotten off the blazing path they were on. The Ravens scored 20 points against the San Francisco 49ers and 24 against the Buffalo Bills. The Ravens average over 400 yards of offensive production per game and against the Bills they were held to 257 total yards. The Ravens faced the teams that matched up best against them, but the Ravens need to get back to looking like the best team in football. When the Ravens beat the 49ers, it was good to see a scrappy win by Baltimore. After the Bills got too close for comfort, fans craved for John Harbaugh to find the turbo button once more.

The Ravens have three very winnable games on left on their schedule. They play the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers after they fight the Jets. The Ravens have already clinched a spot in the playoffs and they need just one more win to clinch the AFC North title. The New England Patriots losing again helped the Ravens. Things would have to go very poorly for the Ravens not to be in a good spot by the time we get into the new year.

It’s important for the Ravens to go into the postseason with the kind of momentum that they had after taking down the Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams without breaking a sweat. The Ravens are capable of being the best team in football yet against the Bills they did just enough to get by. The Ravens beat the Bills 24-17 and you know if these two teams met again, the score could be more impressive. Though the purple and black are a little banged up, this is a perfect get right game. The Ravens shouldn’t just shoot for a win, they should try to get a win that makes a statement.
