The 2019 Baltimore Ravens have proven to be a talented unit and the fans agreed, voting an NFL record-tying 12 players to this year’s Pro Bowl.

The 2019 Pro Bowl ballot is official and your Baltimore Ravens absolutely dominated the polls to the tune of 12 selections, which by the way ties an NFL record. You read that right; one team put in twelve players to a roster of 44 total (full rosters here). That’s over 25% of the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster featuring Baltimore Ravens players. Give yourselves a pat on the back, Ravens Flock.

The best part about this is that all the players voted were more than deserving of their spots.

For starters, Lamar Jackson has taken the league by storm in his second season in the NFL. Jackson is the biggest reason that the Ravens sit at 12-2 on the season behind his arms and legs, contributing to his first Pro Bowl nod and some MVP love.

Joining Jackson is, well, his entire backfield. Running back Mark Ingram got his third Pro Bowl selection of his career, while fullback Patrick Ricard got his first. Tight end Mark Andrews also got the honor, as did Ronnie Stanley and Marshal Yanda on the offensive line (Orlando Brown Jr. was voted as an alternate).

The offense got lots of love, but so did the defense. Defensive backs Marcus Peters and Earl Thomas got Pro Bowl selections for the third and seventh time of their respective careers. Marlon Humphrey also took home the honor for the first time in his career. Matt Judon also received his first career Pro Bowl vote, which will certainly help his chances for a big payday this offseason.

Perhaps most impressively was Baltimore’s Pro Bowl representation on special teams, with Justin Tucker and Morgan Cox taking the kicker and long-snapper spots respectively. It’s also worth noting that Sam Koch was voted as an alternate for the punter spot. Of five possible special teams spots, two were given to Ravens with one reserve. Head coach John Harbaugh is likely crying tears of joy over that.
