What Went Wrong: The Browns out gained the Ravens by a lot and the Browns ran six less plays.

The Baltimore Ravens ran 67 plays in the first game. The Browns had 61 plays for their offense. The Ravens ended up with 395 total yards, while the Browns had 530. The difference in this game was really that the Browns had big play after big play. Mayfield had 342 yards through the air. Jarvis Landry had 167 receiving yards and 65 yards came on one play where the Ravens seemed to forget what a tackle was. Ricky Seals-Jones only had three grabs in the game but he picked up 82 yards. Chubb had an 88 yard gain on the ground. How is any team supposed to win giving up 342 yards through the air and almost 200 on the ground? Take out the big chunk plays for Cleveland and this game would have been incredibly even. Take away the turnovers and the missed chances by Baltimore’s offense and this game could have been a barn burner.

Expect a different game in week 16:

The Baltimore Ravens were essentially sleep walking the last time they played the Browns. They didn’t have it. It was an off day, and it happened to be “The Browns’ Super Bowl.” The defensive roster is improved now and the Ravens benefited greatly from their week four wake up call. The Ravens can earn the number one seed, the Browns are pretty much out of it this year. Expect the Ravens to give their best effort in a revenge game. This game sparked a 10 game win streak. It woke the Ravens up and it gave them a reason to dig a little deeper. This is a different Ravens team and a different game should take place.

There were three things that went wrong the first time. The Ravens beat themselves with turnovers and stupid mistakes. Secondly, they got gashed in the run game and finally they allowed every kind of  big play to sink them. If the Ravens give it their best effort, there is no reason to think they will get swept by the Browns. If the Ravens play like the team they have become on this 10 game win streak the Browns are about to get bullied.
