Addressing the questions, comments and concerns following the Ravens 31-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns to extend their streak to 11.

Happy Holidays Ravens fans. For the first time in franchise history, the Baltimore Ravens are the AFC’s top seed.

After a squeaky first 28 minutes, the Ravens—and more specifically Lamar Jackson—reminded everyone who the unquestioned, most dominant team in the league is. In the final two minutes of the first half, Jackson went for 138 yards, through the air, and two touchdowns.

This, of course, was due in part to some signature Freddie Kitchens play-calling that allowed the Ravens to hold the ball twice after the two-minute warning. This also drew boos from the Celveland faithful directed toward their quarterback, Baker Mayfield. Yes, the same Baker Mayfield that said you can win if you force Lamar to throw in Week 4.

They did win that one, but then Mayfield went on to lead the Browns on their train wreck of a season. To twist the knife more, Jackson’s 238 yards and 3 touchdowns were influential in beating Mayfield’s Browns. Jackson also tacked on 103 yards on the ground for good measure.

Heading into Week 17, the birds are sitting pretty with a franchise record tying 13 wins. Plus, the  starters will have nearly 3 weeks of rest before their next meaningful game. Although there’s not much left to say about a team that is inventing records just to break them, I have some questions, comments and concerns I want to address.
